KroWork Membership Policy
1. What is the Membership Service?
The KroWork Membership Service is a subscription-based value-added service provided by the platform to meet users' needs for in-depth utilization of AI features. By subscribing to a membership plan, users receive a corresponding quota of "Credits" and exclusive benefits to access various AI functions within the platform.
The Membership Service is fundamentally a network technology and related service provided by the platform to users. It does not constitute any form of financial product or investment behavior.
2. Billing Cycle and Auto-Renewal Rules
- Billing Model: The Membership Service operates on a continuous monthly subscription (auto-renewal) model.
- Billing Cycle: A complete billing cycle consists of 30 days, starting from the date of the user's subscription.
- Auto-Renewal: Before the end of each billing cycle, the system will automatically deduct the membership fee for the next cycle via Alipay. The deduction will be processed within one day prior to the expiration date of the current billing cycle.
- Failed Deduction Handling: If the automatic deduction fails, the system will retry within 24 hours. After multiple failed attempts, the membership service will be suspended, and the platform will notify the user.
3. What are the Membership Benefits?
Upon subscribing to a membership, users will enjoy the following benefits:
- Receive a monthly credit quota corresponding to the selected plan, which can be used for various AI features on the platform.
- Higher-tier membership plans unlock more platform features and priority access qualifications (specific details are subject to the product interface display).
- Member users can purchase additional "Add-on Packs" to supplement their credits.
4. What is the Validity Period of Membership Credits?
Credits issued through membership plans are valid for the current monthly billing cycle. At the end of the current billing cycle, any unconsumed membership credits will expire and will not be rolled over to the next cycle.
5. Credit Consumption Rules
Using the platform's AI features will consume credits (specific amounts are subject to the relevant interface display at that time). Credit consumption is calculated and deducted based on the actual volume of AI computational calls.
The system cannot provide a precise cost estimate before a user initiates a task. The final credit consumption is influenced by dynamic factors such as task complexity, context length, and uploaded file size.
Credit Consumption Priority Order:
- Credits acquired from free events;
- Credits issued from membership benefits;
- Credits purchased via Add-on Packs.
6. Free Credits
The platform may issue free credits to users through registration gifts, invitation rewards, operational events, etc. Free credits are valid for 30 days from the date of issuance and will automatically expire and be cleared afterward.
Free credits cannot be cashed out, transferred, used to purchase Add-on Packs, or used to deduct membership subscription fees. Specific issuance rules are subject to platform announcements and event page descriptions.
7. Membership Plan Upgrade Rules
If a user wishes to upgrade their membership plan (e.g., from the Lite plan to the Pro plan), the following rules apply:
- Billing Method: Users must pay the full fee for the higher-tier plan.
- Effective Time: The upgrade takes effect immediately upon successful payment, instantly unlocking the benefits and credit quota of the higher-tier plan.
- Credit Handling: Any unconsumed credits from the original lower-tier plan will be rolled over and integrated into the new higher-tier membership cycle. The validity period of these rolled-over credits will be extended to match the validity period of the higher-tier membership credits, while the credit type and attributes remain unchanged.
- Cycle Reset: The day of the upgrade is set as the start date of the new billing cycle. The membership billing cycle will be recalculated as 30 days from the date of the upgrade.
8. Membership Plan Downgrade
Downgrading to a lower-tier membership plan is currently not supported.
9. Subscription Cancellation
Users can voluntarily cancel the automatic membership renewal via the "Cancel Auto-Renewal / Cancel Subscription" portal within the product. Upon cancellation:
- The membership benefits and issued credits for the current billing cycle will remain valid until the end of that cycle.
- Automatic deductions will cease starting the following month, and the membership service will terminate upon expiration.
10. How to Check Membership Validity and Credit Balance?
Users can check the following information in the platform's Credit Center:
- Current membership plan type and expiration date;
- Balances and validity periods of various credit types;
- Detailed records of credit usage.
11. Refund Policy
As the KroWork membership service and credits are virtual consumable goods, the service fee represents the price of the network goods corresponding to the paid services purchased by the user. It does not possess the nature of a prepayment, deposit, down payment, or savings card. Once paid services are activated, they are non-refundable.
In special circumstances, users may contact our staff for consultation by emailing the official customer service address published by the platform: support@krowork.com.
Before purchasing any paid services, users are requested to carefully verify the service and benefit information, pricing, usage period, and relevant usage rules within the platform agreements, and double-check the account information used for the purchase.
