KroWork "Credits" Policy
1. What are "Credits"?
"Credits" refer to a virtual item designed by us to meet users' needs for consuming and using more KroWork services.
"Credits" are strictly limited to registered KroWork users for acquiring and redeeming the right to use specific features or value-added services within the KroWork platform.
For the avoidance of doubt, the "Credits" service is a network technology and related service provided by the platform to users. It is not a network payment service, nor are "Credits" considered tokens, virtual currency, or prepaid vouchers. They do not possess any monetary or prepaid value.
2. Categories, Acquisition, and Validity of "Credits"
| Category | Acquisition / Consumption Method | Validity Period |
|---|---|---|
| Operational Event Credits | Acquired as incentives through regular or irregular operational events held by the platform. | Subject to the product interface and event rules published at the time of your participation. |
| Membership Benefit Credits (Standard) | Issued in a 30-day cycle during the active subscription period after a KroWork membership takes effect. | Valid for 30 days from the date of issuance. |
| Membership Benefit Credits (Special) | Credits included or gifted as part of membership benefits acquired through regular or irregular platform operational events. | Subject to the product interface and event rules published at the time of your participation. |
| Add-on Pack Credits | Acquired through top-up purchases. | Valid for 90 days from the date of issuance. |
Note
Changes in product strategy may lead to adjustments in the rules governing the acquisition and validity of credits. Relevant rules will take effect from the date of publication. The usage rights of paid services that users have already paid for before such adjustments take effect will not be affected. Please pay attention to in-system announcements, check the designated inquiry paths, or contact platform customer service for details.
3. What are the consumption rules for "Credits"?
Using platform features will consume credits (specific amounts are subject to the relevant interface display at that time).
Credits for the corresponding generation action will be deducted immediately during the generation process.
The consumption of credits is calculated and deducted based on the actual volume of AI computational calls. The system cannot provide an exact cost estimate before a user initiates a task. The final credits consumed are influenced by dynamic factors such as task complexity, context length, and uploaded file size.
4. What is the consumption priority of "Credits"?
In principle, credits are consumed in the following priority order:
- Credits acquired from free events;
- Credits issued from membership benefits;
- Credits purchased via Add-on Packs.
5. How to check the "Credits" balance and usage details?
You can view the credit usage details through the following path:
Open KroWork, click Settings in the bottom-left corner → Membership Center, which will redirect to the "Membership Center" web page.
6. Membership Plan Upgrade Rules
If a user wishes to upgrade their membership benefits, they must pay the full fee for the higher-tier membership plan.
Upon successful payment, the higher-tier membership benefits will take effect immediately. The billing cycle for the higher-tier membership is 30 days from the date of payment, and the old membership plan will be terminated with no further deductions. Simultaneously, the system will issue the credits associated with the higher-tier plan.
Any unconsumed credits from the original lower-tier membership plan will be rolled over and integrated into the new higher-tier membership cycle. This means the expiration date of the lower-tier membership credits will be extended to match the expiration date of the higher-tier membership credits, while the credit type/attributes remain unchanged.
7. Credits Refund/Return Policy
As "KroWork" credits are virtual consumable goods, the service fee represents the price of the network goods corresponding to the paid services purchased by the user, rather than possessing the nature of a prepayment, deposit, down payment, or savings card. Once paid services are activated, they are non-refundable.
Before purchasing corresponding paid services, users are requested to carefully verify the service and benefit information, price, usage period, and relevant usage rules in the platform agreements, and carefully confirm the account information used to purchase the service.
